I am pleased to have the opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for Jessica Rubin. I have known Jessica for three years. First as one of my daughter's teachers - one of her favorites - and more recently, as her teacher assistant.

Jessica's passion and talent as a teacher are evident to me in a myriad of ways. She has a wonderful ability to draw a class in with her warmth, enthusiasm and clarity. Her thoughtfulness in planning curriculum and carrying out lessons shows. She incorporates activities which utilize a variety of modalities; she brings an awareness and sensitivity to the personality and needs of individual students and; is able to act spontaneously when the need arises. I have also seen her regularly seek out feedback and ideas and use them to improve her teaching and her communication with colleagues.

Because of these attributes, I heartily recommend Jessica Rubin as she moves forward in her teaching career.
